This MCF-based tool allows dropping of FS Model files (.mdl) onto it to have a corresponding XML file created automatically. The tool extracts some information from the model file (such as the object's GUID) The developer then fills in a few more parameters such as location, altitude, rotation etc. and then uses the generated XML file for further processing in the FS SDK tool chain.

This is what the dialog looks like before any .MDL file was dropped.

After a model file was dropped, the XML file is updated.
The developer now needs to fill in a few more parameters, either inside the
editable XML content on the left
and/or using the entry fields and combo-box on the right.

The developer entered the required parameters which are automatically updated in
the XML content on the left.
The tool is now ready to create (write) the XML file for further processing.
